In early trade today the benchmark Sensex opened on a cautious note to recover almost 23 points.The 30-share index was trading higher by 22.76 points, or 0.07%, to 29,022.32. The NSE Nifty was up 10.15 points, or 0.11%, at 8,957.05 in early trade.

Today Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was up 0.48%, Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.02%, while Japan’s Nikkei was down 0.50%. The Brokers as per the sources news said that buying by investors in select blue-chip stocks coupled with a mixed trend in other regional markets influenced sentiment here.

At 10:55 am as per the sources news BSE Sensex trades lower by 83 points, or 0.29%, to 28,917, while the Nifty 50 fell 6 points, or 0.06%, to 8,941.
