New Delhi: Russian Direct Investment Fund CEO Kiril Dmitryv said on Tuesday that the Serum Institute of India (SII) will start production of the Russian Corona vaccine Sputnik V vaccine in September. At the same time, he said the first batch of sputnik v vaccine is likely to be ready in September.
He also said that some other manufacturers are also ready to produce this vaccine in India. Russia says 300 million Sputnik We Doses will be produced in India every year. Dr Reddy's Laboratories Limited has offered Russia's Corona virus vaccine Sputnik V in more than 50 cities and towns in the country. Dr Reddy's Laboratories offered the vaccine in a simple manner on May 14 and now the pilot project has been expanded to more than 50 cities and towns.
The company said in a tweet on Monday night that it will further increase Sputnik V in the coming week. Dr Reddy's Laboratories tweeted that the vaccine is now available in cities like Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, NCR, Chennai as well as cities like Miryalguda, Vijayawada, Baddi, Kolhapur, Kochi, Raipur, Chandigarh, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik.
