Ahmedabad: Seven people have reportedly died of suffocation in Gujarat. Four sweepers were among the dead. The incident is reported to be from Fartikui village in Vadodara. The incident is said to have taken place when the victims were cleaning the septic tank of a hotel.

According to information, the police have registered a case of negligence against the owner of the hotel. Police say all of them died due to search for each other. According to information, four persons (Mahesh Patanavdia, Ashok Harijan, Brijesh Harijan and Mahesh Harij) came to the Darshan Hotel to clean the septic tank. Three other hotel workers (Vijay Chaudhary, Sehdev Vasava and Ajay Vasava) were helping them.

At the same time, according to the police, the first to enter the septic tank to clean up the fallavdia. When he did not come out for long and there was no sound from inside, Ashok, Brajesh and Mahesh went in. But when the four did not come out, Choudhury, Sehdev and Ajay went in to help them.
