Raipur: The state government has also become a party in the alleged sex CD case of Chhattisgarh. The top court has allowed it during the hearing on Thursday. This appeal was made in court by the accused. On the other hand, the hearing on the CBI's petition in this case has been postponed. CBI demands that the investigation of this case be transferred out of the state. Now the issue will be heard on March 5 itself.
The CBI argues that the accused person has been an advisor to the Chief Minister, in which case the investigation will not be done properly. Therefore, the matter should be transferred out. In the year 2017, an alleged sex CD in Chhattisgarh came in quite a lot of headlines. This CD was told by a leader, in this case, a journalist was also arrested.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) then accused Congress leaders of spreading the CD. The Raman government then handed over the case to the CBI.
