The actress revealed that she drew inspiration from Neena Gupta's character in the film Baadai Ho for the role of Preeti. Rajshree shared that she really admired Neena Ji as an actress, and when she was approached to essay the character in Shaadi Mubarak, she drew inspiration from the latter's performance in Badhaai Ho. Praising Neena Ji, Rajshree said that the way she showed the nuances on the screen of a middle-aged mother in the film was absolutely commendable.
