BJP's Media Chief Anil Baluni said that Shah has different meetings in Manipur with Lok Sabha Chargeholders of Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Manipur. Before reaching Manipur, Shah was in West Bengal for two days. Amit Shah will arrive in Odisha on Sunday.

Anil Baluni said that Shah's visit to Eastern and Northeast areas of the country was part of the Modi Government's 'Look East' policy. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has often talked about his government's emphasis on the development of these areas as the country cannot be strengthened if some areas of India are not developed. He said that for the overall development of these areas, Shah frequently visits there.

The look of the BJP President Amit Shah is in the northeast region these days. The victory here in the Lok Sabha elections can prove to be a game changer for the BJP.
