Shah Rukh Khan's blockbuster film Jawan, which hit theaters worldwide in September last year, is now preparing for its grand release in Japan. The Bollywood star announced that the movie will debut in Japan on November 29, thrilling fans across the globe.

Sharing the news along with the trailer for its Japan release, Shah Rukh Khan posted on Instagram: “Get ready for an intense, fiery, and action-packed adventure as Jawan makes its way to Japan! Jawan arrives in Japan on 29th November!”

The action-packed thriller, directed by Atlee, marks the filmmaker’s debut in Hindi cinema. The movie, which was a major hit globally, will be distributed in Japan by Twin, a well-known distributor of Indian films in the country.

Early Ticket Bookings in Japan
Reports revealed that advance booking for Jawan in Japan started as early as July 5, five months ahead of its release. Fans who book tickets early are set to receive exclusive posters featuring Shah Rukh Khan from the popular song “Chaleya.”

Fans React with Sequel Requests
Following Shah Rukh Khan’s announcement about the Japan release, fans were quick to express their excitement and began requesting a sequel, Jawan 2.

One fan enthusiastically commented, “Make Jawan 2, sir!” Another fan chimed in, “All set to take over the box office yet again!” One user said, “From Iran to Japan, Jawan is still stealing hearts and creating havoc at the Box Office.” Another excited fan added, “Japan, get ready to celebrate Jawan!”

Global Success of Jawan
Jawan has been a massive success, grossing ₹1,148 crore worldwide, making it the highest-grossing film of 2023. Produced under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma, the film also stars Deepika Padukone, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, and Sanya Malhotra.
