Since Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Padmavati starring Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone has been announced, there are rumours of the cold war between Shahid and Ranveer. Reportedly, Ranveer's alleged displeasure at his role being changed from that of an anti-hero to a conventional villain is considered the main root of brawl.

The battle between the two still continues between the two, but this time it's a war of words. The upcoming schedule of Padmavati will get Ranveer and Shahid for the first time together on the set.

A source close to the set said, "Sanjay sir planned the shoot in such a way that individual scenes of all actors were shot first. These will be followed by portions that see them together. Although Deepika who plays Rani Padmavati, and Shahid, as her husband Raja Ratan Singh, have shot together before, Ranveer has shot solo scenes until now."

Added the source, "There is latent animosity running through the scene. Before Ranveer injured himself while shooting last week, the scene was discussed with him. A scene like this banks on the actors' equation, and Shahid and Ranveer share a good one. As performers, they are different. Having them come face to face on set will be a delight to watch."

But, Shahid has said, "I want to work with every fantastic actor in town. Ranveer and I will be a house of fire in this film."
