After Vidya Balan diagnosed with dengue, his neighbour Shahid's flat found breeding area of dengue. On complaint, BMC inspected his flat which is found under threat of dengue.

Thus On Friday, BMC served notice to Shahid after his area was found ground of mosquito breeding. This all happen as Vidya was down with dengue nearby. Also Parineeti Chopra is residing in Juhu apartment. A vigilant officers from the health department after inspection stated, "We visited the building on Friday and found one breeding area at the ground floor where Shahid Kapoor lives. The other was found at the top floor of the building, which is just above Balan's flat. We have issued notice to that resident, too,"

"We will take appropriate steps against both residents. They have been issued notices and now the magistrate court will prescribe a fine," added by officer.

Shahid's spokesperson on the notice said, "Shahid is concerned about the findings of BMC in his building and in the locality, especially so with a newborn in his house. He is also grateful to the BMC for the checks conducted in the locality, which is vulnerable during the rainy season and because of its proximity to the sea."
