Shahid Kapoor  and Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh is doing extremely week even after days of its release.  Kabir Singh received mixed reviews. But a strong word-of-mouth promotion and an amazing performance by Shahid Kapoor has helped the film break many records. Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial’s is an official Hindi remake of Telugu film Arjun Reddy, has become the highest grossing movie of 2019. The total collection stands at Rs 249.60 crore. The film  has surpassed the box office record set by Vicky Kaushal starrer Uri: The Surgical Strike and the film is inching close to Rs 250 crore mark.

Noted Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box office figures of the Kiara Advani starrer. He tweeted, “#KabirSingh is excellent in Week 3… Was affected [slightly] by the cricket matches [#CWC19]… Will cruise past ₹ 250 cr today [fourth Fri]… [Week 3] Fri 5.40 cr, Sat 7.51 cr, Sun 9.61 cr, Mon 4.25 cr, Tue 3.20 cr, Wed 3.11 cr, Thu 3.32 cr. Total: ₹ 249.60 cr. India biz.”

The collection of the Kabir Singh is expected to be slow down as Hrithik's Super 30 has been released.

Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film is based on the life of Anand Kumar, a Patna-based mathematician, who started the Super 30 programme for underpriviledged IIT aspirants. Super 30 also stars Pankaj Tripathi and Mrunal Thakur in key roles.
