Bollywood's focus is on sports-based films these days and the biopic of the players is becoming fiercely. Shahid Kapoor 's previous film 'Padmaavat' had made several records on the box office and his acting was also liked. Shahid Kapoor 's 'Bati Gull Meter Chalu' is ready for release. With this, Shahid Kapoor has given another fame to his fans. Shahid Kapoor will be playing Dingko in the biopic of Dingko Singh, Gold Medalist at Boxing Champion and Asian Games. 

Shahid Kapoor's Dingko biopic will be directed by Raja Krishna MeThe shooting of the film will begin in April 2019. Dinko Singh, Manipur living in Manipur, is the only boxer in India who has won boxing gold in the category for India. He won this gold in the Asian Games. Dingko Singh was also awarded the Gold Medal in 2013. Dinko Singh has been a source of inspiration for many boxers coming after this and he has done the job of packing the youth spirit. 

Shahid Kapoor said about the project, "The thing which I liked the most about this story is that they are superstar about whom we do not know much. If there was no film like 'Dangal (2016)' then we have never known about Fogat sisters, Dingko is a cancer survivor, and he had undergone chemotherapy 13 times. Dingko has said many times that his biggest win in life was not winning gold, but Dinko Singh won gold at the Bangkok Asian Games in 1998 at the age of 19."

By the wa,y Shahid Kapoor is in the process of promoting his soon-released film 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu'. Shahid Kapoor's film with Shraddha Kapoor will be released on September 21. The film is about the problem of electricity.
