Mumbai: It has been 20 years since the movie Hey Ram released. The movie was made in the writing, direction, and production of Kamal Haasan. Shah Rukh Khan also acted in this movie. The Hindi version of this movie is owned by Shahrukh Khan. Recently, a video is going viral on social media, in which Kamal Haasan is telling the story when Shahrukh could pay his fees.

Reminiscing about the movie, Kamal had said in an interview, 'Like Shahrukh, I too have a business mind. However, the truth is that Shah Rukh knew how much the budget of 'Hey Ram' was. He only wanted to be a part of this movie. When he came to know that the budget of the movie has increased more than necessary, he refused to take his fee. I have requested him to take the fees many times, but Shahrukh always postponed. He took a wristwatch as his fees. In a tweet on Tuesday, Kamal told that, 'Hey Ram' has completed 20 years. The doubts and warnings that were talked about in the movie are still coming true today. We have to overcome these challenges for the sake of harmony in the country. we will succeed.'
