Kishori Balal, a veteran actress of Hindi cinema and South cinema has died in a hospital in Bengaluru on Tuesday. She was 82 years old and was ill for a long time. As news of her death spread, many big personalities of the cinema world have expressed grief. Kishori Balal has worked in about 72 films.

Shah Rukh became emotional while remembering Kishori Balal, and wrote a post on his Instagram expressing grief. Actor Shahrukh wrote, 'May her soul rest in peace. Kishori Amma will be greatly missed. Especially how she used to reprimand me for smoking cigarettes. May Allah take care of her. '

Kishori started her film journey in the year 1960. She won millions of hearts with her performances in many regional films apart from Bollywood films.
