Kochi: The accused who set fire to the train in Kerala has been identified; his name has been given as Shahrukh Saif, who is a resident of Noida. He used to work as a labourer while living in Kerala. Kerala Police has also released his sketch. After a minor dispute, he set fire to the train by sprinkling gasoline, due to which 3 people were burnt alive and the treatment of 8 injured is going on in the hospital. There is a witness in this case, Razak, according to whom Shahrukh's sketch was prepared at the Elathur police station.

According to the report, after this incident, the police also found a mobile phone near the railway track, after which several details were found. However, there was no SIM card in this phone. Actually, the SIM card was already taken out. It was last used on Thursday, March 30. Now the police are tracing the contacts of Shahrukh Saif so that he can be caught as soon as possible. Police have already said that soon this case will be busted.

The Kerala Police is also probing the matter from a terrorist angle. The NIA has also started a preliminary investigation in this matter. This incident is on the Alappuzha-Kannur Express. A 2-year-old child and a woman were among the dead. The condition of three of the nine injured is said to be critical. People have told that the accused was wearing red clothes. He came from the D2 compartment to the D1 compartment to carry out this incident.

However, soon after Shah Rukh sets the train on fire, the passengers stop the train by pulling the chain. It was dark at that time, so Shahrukh Saif took advantage of that and escaped. A bag and phone were recovered from the spot. The bag had a piece of paper with the names of some places in Thiruvananthapuram and Kanyakumari. Along with this, clothes, spectacles, and a bottle of gasoline were also recovered. Let us tell you that there is a strict ban on carrying inflammable things like petrol in the train. In such a situation, Shahrukh's boarding the train with gasoline gives strength to the apprehension that he boarded the train with the intention of setting it on fire. Kerala's CM, Pinarayi Vijayan, has condemned the incident. At the same time, the BJP unit in Kerala has termed it the handiwork of traitors.

Let us tell you that this incident of setting the train on fire has happened at a time when communal violence has taken place on Ram Navami in many parts of the country. Regarding the violence in Bengal, CM Mamta Banerjee had said that Muslim brothers cannot do any wrong thing in the month of Ramzan; it was the processionists who shouted provocative slogans in the Muslim areas, due to which the violence broke out. In the midst of this atmosphere, people are asking on social media about the incident of Shahrukh burning three people alive and whether the deceased passengers also raised the slogan Jai Shri Ram, due to which Shahrukh burned them alive.
