When Shahrukh Khan came on Kapil's show 'Comedy Nights with Kapil' to promote his film 'Dilwale', Sunil Grover gave a comedy dance performance on his song 'Gerua'. During this, Sunil applied saffron colour on his entire body, due to which he was completely painted saffron from head to toe. Stars like Kajol and Varun Dhawan who were present there were running away from him so that their expensive clothes do not get spoiled, but Shahrukh Khan did not do so.

Sunil said, "When I was in saffron colour, Shahrukh came to me and hugged me without caring about his expensive clothes. His clothes were ruined, yet he danced with me." This moment was very special for Sunil, because he has always been a big fan of Shahrukh Khan.

It was my dream to do a signature step with Shahrukh

Sunil further said that spreading his arms with Shahrukh while doing his signature step was no less than a dream for him. Sunil said, "Even today when I meet Shahrukh, he meets me with the same love. Many people tell me that whenever they listen to the song Gerua, they remember my performance and not Shahrukh and Kajol's."
