The concept was introduced by Sony Pictures last year. There will be a trilogy that will feature the enduring superhero. According to reports, Ranveer Singh has been cast in the lead role in the Basil Joseph film. However, the creators have not provided any official confirmation.

Although there have been discussions, neither the director nor the star of the film have been officially announced. According to rumors, Basil Joseph was helming the film while Ranveer Singh was rumored to play Shaktimaan. Mukesh has now disclosed that there is a good component to the film's slight delay.

The OG Shaktimaan just On his channel Bheeshm International, Mukesh Khanna revealed a few insights about the movie, saying,“Contract has been signed. Ye bohot bade level ki film hai. He also declined to say whether he would reprise the part or whether someone else would step into his shoes. "What I can say is I am not supposed to do any appearance in Shaktimaan’s get-up now. I have to stop because they don’t want any comparison. But the film is coming, very soon there will be a final announcement, where you will know who will be in it, who will direct it. It is being made on an international level, as it deserves to be,” he added.

Last year, Sony Pictures released a teaser trailer revealing the Shaktimaan movie was under production. Additionally, it was said that they have the legal authority to adapt the film into a Superhero trilogy.
