While greeting to the audience at the event, the 'PINK' star told, "The Indian film industry is more than a hundred years old and is flourishing and doing extremely well. India produces more than a 1500 films every year, which is four times what Hollywood produces and twice as much as comes out of China."
Netanyahu, in his address, spoke about Big B and Bollywood, and said, "I learned that Amitabh Bachchan has a larger fan following than me on social media. You guys are a big deal. The world loves Bollywood. We love Bollywood. We want Bollywood in Israel."

Amitabh Bachchan who is an Indian film actor, producer, television host, and former politician. He first gained popularity in the early 1970s for films such as Zanjeer, Deewaar, and Sholay, and was dubbed India's "angry young man" for his on-screen roles in Bollywood. Referred to as the Shahenshah of Bollywood, Star of the Millennium, or Big B, he has since appeared in over 190 Indian films in a career spanning almost five decades.
