India has many well-known airports in difeeren states that usually win our hearts. Recently, in the same, Shamshabad Airport has achieved a rare feat. Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad has won two national awards. Shamshabad International Airport has won two national awards for enhancing energy-saving efficiencies and for taking up environmentally friendly activities. GMR Airport sources said that Godrej Green received the 'Energy Efficient' award along with the 'National Energy Leader' award as part of the National Awards of Excellence in Energy Management under the auspices of the 2020 Confederation of India, Godrej Green Business.

Over the past three years, Shamshabad Airport has saved 4.55 MW of electricity as part of energy-saving measures. GHIAL CEO Pradeep Phanikar said that the Hyderabad Airport has received the awards for its efficient use of energy resources. He said the awards were a measure of their performance. It is about 22 km from the city of Hyderabad. In the distance is the Shamshabad Airport. The airport looks really very beautiful when seen from the airport linked road. Futhermore, the elegance of the airport enhances in the evening.

The airport has already secured a place among the top 10 international airports in the world. The selction process was based on a number of factors such as punctuality, food, shopping facilities and better passenger services. It was also selected last year in the top 10 international airports in the world. Of these, Hyderabad Airport secured the a place in top 8.
