Shanthanu will be next seen in the romantic drama 'Murungakkai Chips', directed by Srijar. The makers recently released the video of a stunning dance number 'Talku lessu worku moreu' from the film, and the song is doing well on the internet. Hence, we reached out to the leading man from the song, Shanthanu to know more about the hit track.

Recalling the song shoot, Shanthanu reveals, 'I was suffering from fever during the song shoot, and my temperature was 101 degrees fahrenheit. But I shot for the song. I took some medicines and rested before shooting for a few dance steps as we had to complete the song shoot in time. " Shanthanu praised the song heroine Athulya, She is one of the rare finds, and we are lucky to have a Tamil-based commercial heroine. She was very cooperative and comfortable while shooting for 'Murungakkai Chips'," he mentioned.

Asked about his wife's reaction to the romantic scenes in the song, he immediately said that she took the scenes very casually. "Glamour laam iruku pola" (Glamour also there), she said after watching the song for the first time. But she took it casually since it's a basic thing for an actor to do all kinds of scenes. Even though we enjoyed the memes together, I am still worried about it since too many memes on social media might turn against me some time."

Like many of us, Shanthanu too is unclear why the producer opted for the title 'Murungakkai Chips', and how chips can be made from Murungakkai (Drumstick). But he promises that 'Murungakkai Chips' will be a fun ride for the fans to enjoy, and the film release will be decided according to the pandemic situation.

'Thalapathy 65' first look will be launched this June.
