New Delhi: Work is underway on the Central Vista Project in the national capital Delhi amid the crisis of the corona epidemic. A petition was filed in the Delhi High Court to stop construction as the work is being disputed. Shapoorji Pallonji Group, which deals with the project in court, has said that arrangements have been made to stay on the project site of the workers working on the project so that they do not have to travel frequently.
According to an affidavit given by Shapoorji Pallonji Group in the High Court, initially 250 people were accommodated on the site, but now the number has reached 280. According to the company, no worker needs to travel from the Sarai Kale Khan camp. The company has argued that now that the project has started, it cannot be easily stopped as it will create a variety of problems. There are many places on the site where continuous work is necessary, otherwise dirty water during pre-monsoon and monsoon seasons can cause malaria, dengue and other diseases in the surrounding area.
Earlier also, it was reported by the company that the workers working on the site were being provided medical facilities, they had undergone corona tests. And all the work is being done according to the guidelines itself.
