Mumbai: NCP chief Sharad Pawar has recently made a shocking statement about Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole. In fact, the NCP Chief has called Patole a 'little man.' Let me tell you that Sharad Pawar's statement comes after Nana Patole made a comment about deputy CM Ajit Pawar in which he said that there should be a Guardian Minister of the Congress and not the NCP in Pune. Addressing party workers in Pune last Sunday, Congress State President Nana Patole said, "Someone his person (Congress leader) should be appointed as the Guardian Minister of Pune. Now someone is from Baramati, is he doing our job? You (Congress workers) should not get weak, increase your strength so that we can appoint our own person.''

Let me tell all of you that the Guardian Minister of Pune at present is Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. During the meeting, some Congress workers had raised the question that "the Guardian Minister of Pune is not helping him and Congress workers are not being appointed in the committees.'' Nana Patole said this. Now, recently, Sharad Pawar has stated, 'I don't get into these things, these are small people. Why should I talk about it, if Sonia Gandhi says something, Then I will make my point.'

Sharad Pawar also said, "Every party has the right to expand its base, but the main thing is that all the three parties are together on the issue of running the government.'' In fact, amid speculation about the new Assembly Speaker, NCP Chief Sharad Pawar has made it clear that the next Assembly Speaker will also be from the Congress party.
