Navratri 2020: Offer these special things to 9 Forms of Goddess Durga

Navratri puja is very important in Hinduism. It has its own distinct significance. This time Navratri is commencing from 17th October 2020. It is a 9-day festival and the 9 forms of Goddess Durga is worshipped according to customs. Today, we are going to tell you about what to offer to the different forms of Goddess.

First day (Shailputri)- Offer pure desi ghee to Goddess Shailputri. 

Second day (Brahmcharani)- On the second day, Goddess Brahmcharani should be offered with sugar, white sweets, mishri, and fruits, etc.

Third day (Chandraghanta)- On the third day, Goddess Chandraghanta should offer with milk sweets and kheer.

On the fourth day (Kushmanda)- Goddess Durga's Kushmanda avatar should be offered with Malpua.

On the fifth day (Skandamata)- Goddess's Skandamata form should be offered with banana.

Sixth Day (Katyayini)- On the sixth day, Katyayini Devi should be offered with honey.

Seventh Day (Kaalratri)- Goddess Kaalratri should be offered with jaggery or sweets made from it.

Eighth day (Mahagauri)- On the eighth day of Navratri, Goddess Mahagauri should be offered with coconut.

On the ninth day (the last day of Navratri), the Siddhidatri form of Maa Durga should be offered with pomegranate and sesame.
