The BSE index Sensex was down 5.42 per cent or 1849.97 points at 32,288.85 in early trade and Nifty was down 5.12 per cent or 509.30 points at 9,445.90 on the first day of the week. At the same time, only 1 company shares in Nifty-50 have been seen trading on green mark and 49 companies are trading on red mark. Yes Bank's stock is seeing a tremendous jump of 58 percent on Monday morning.

Corona outbreak seen on stock market
There is a huge slowdown in the stock markets outside China due to the rapidly growing corona virus. Along with this, SpiceJet and IndiGo shares have seen a decline of up to 10 percent on Monday morning due to the ban on foreign flights. On the other hand, due to the closure of theaters till March 31 in many states, shares of companies associated with this sector have also registered a huge decline. PVR's stock has suffered a lot.

Indian Rupee
The Indian rupee opened today with a fall on Monday. Along with this, it opened at 74.06 with a fall of 15 paise against a dollar. It is being told that the rupee closed at 73.91 on Friday last week.
