Today, on the last trading day of the week, the stock market opened on Friday. The Bombay Stock Exchange's flagship index Sensex opened at 39292.71, up 179.24 points, or 0.46 percent. The National Stock Exchange's Nifty opened with a gain of 0.46 percent i.e. 53.30 points at the level of 11612.55. The market started at the edge today due to the continuous inflow of foreign funds.
The condition of heavyweight shares: Today, TCS, ICICI Bank, Tata Steel, Grasim, Axis Bank, BPCL, Reliance, Infratil, Sun Pharma, SBI, and Maruti have opened on the green mark if we talk about heavyweight shares. At the same time, shares of Asian Paints, Hindalco, Bajaj Auto, IndusInd Bank, Britannia, Tata Motors and HDFC Bank have opened on the red mark.
Sectoral Index: If you look at the sectoral index, today, apart from realty, all sectors started on the green mark. These include pharma, media, IT, metal, finance services, bank auto, FMCG, PSU bank and private bank.
The stock market was on the edge during the pre-open. At 9.10 am, the Sensex was at 39,264.48 after gaining 151.01 points, or 0.39 percent. At the same time, the Nifty was up 43.70 points i.e. 0.38 percent at 11602.95.
The market had closed on the previous trading day, the market, the stock market closed yesterday. The Sensex was up 39.55 points at the level of 39113.47 with a gain of 0.10 percent. The Nifty closed 0.08 percent up at the level of 11559.25 with a slight increase of 9.65 points.
