On the third trading day of the week, the stock market opened on a moderate decline. The Bombay Stock Exchange's flagship index Sensex started 23.59 points down 0.06 percent at 39550.98. The National Stock Exchange's Nifty opened at a level of 11660.90 with a moderate decrease of 1.50 points to 0.01 percent.

Today the shares of TCS, Reliance, SBI Life, and Bharti Airtel opened on the green mark. IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, Tata Motors, and Infosys started on the red mark. If we look at the sectoral index, today all sectors except FMCG and media opened with a fall. These include IT, pharma, PSU banks, realty, finance services, metal, auto, banks, and private banks.

During the same pre-open at 9.02 am, the Sensex was at a level of 39648.63 after an increase of 74.06 points, meaning 0.19 percent. Nifty was up 41.70 points, 0.36 percent, at the level of 11704.10. On the same trading day, the domestic stock market closed at the edge. The Sensex gained 1.54 percent to close at the level of 39574.57, up 600.87 points. The Nifty closed at 11662.40 with a gain of 1.38 percent. The stock market opened on the green mark on Tuesday.
