The stock market opened on the green mark on Thursday, the fourth trading day of the week. The Bombay Stock Exchange's flagship index Sensex opened at 38,635.21, after gaining 225.73 points, or 0.59%. However, the National Stock Exchange's Nifty opened at 11,321.60 after gaining 70.60 points, or 0.63%.

Such was the situation of veteran shares
Talking about the big stocks, today Vedanta Limited, JSW Steas, GAIL, Tata Steel, Sun Pharma, UPL, Adani Ports and Hero MotoCorp opened on the green mark. Along with this, Infratel, Yes Bank, Zee Limited, ICICI Bank, M&M, Cipla and HDFC opened on the red mark.

Monitoring of sectoral index
Looking at the sectoral index, today all the sectors except the media opened on the green mark. These include IT, Pharma, FMCG, Realty, PSU Bank, Private Bank, Auto and Metal.

This was the condition of the stock market during the pre open
The stock market was at the green mark at 9:12 am during the pre open. The Sensex was up 194.77 points, or 0.51%, at 38,604.25. The Nifty was at 11,306.05 after gaining 55.05 points, or 0.49%.

Rupee opened at 73.36 level against dollar
The rupee opened 15 paise against the dollar today at 73.36. The rupee had closed at 73.21 against the dollar on the previous trading day.

15 times application for SBI Cards IPO
The initial public offer (IPO) of SBI Cards and Payment Services has received applications up to 15.15 times till the third day on Wednesday. According to the data available on NSE, the IPO of 10 crore shares has so far received applications for 151 crore shares. The IPO has an offer to sell around 13 crore shares, including a new issue of Rs 500 crore and an offer of 3.66 crore shares to leading investors. The price range for this has been fixed at Rs 750-755. SBR Cards is expecting an IPO of Rs 10,355 crore.

The market closed on the red mark on Wednesday
The stock market closed on Wednesday after day-long fluctuations. The Sensex closed at a level of 38,409.48 after a fall of 214.22 points, or 0.55%. The Nifty closed at 11,254.20 level after losing 49.10 points i.e. 0.43%.

The market was open on the last trading day on a flat level
The Sensex opened at a level of 38,672.76 on the previous trading day after gaining 49.06 points, or 0.13%. The Nifty opened at 11,317.80, after losing 14.50 points, or 0.13%. After this, the Sensex was trading at the level of 37,894.37 after falling 729.33 points or 1.89% at 1:45 pm. Currently, the Nifty was trading at 11,085.20 levels after falling 218.20 points, or 1.93%.
