When women talk about gender empowerment, it effect the society better. The director-choreographer Farah Khan and veteran actress Sharmila Tagore together come forward to become a part of a very important subject gender empowerment.

At the first edition of a conclave titled The Bridge, the both lady come together for a cause and talk about gender equality and women empowerment.

Filmmakers, actors, leaders, politicians and activities attended the conclave. The main and leading  object is connecting with trials, questions, tribulations, and solutions to gender empowerment in varying social, cultural, economic and political contexts. Sharmila Tagore and Farah Khan along with Vasundhara Raje, Ankhi Das, Rohini Nilekani, Maneka Gandhi, Mona Eltahawy, Mani Shankar Aiyar, Sara Pilot, Nivedita Menon, Nikhil Dey attended the conclave titled 'The Bridge'.

The conclave will debut on October 8.
