Today is the birthday of Shashi Kapoor, who made a place in everyone's hearts with his best acting in Bollywood. Although Shashi Kapoor is no longer in this world, but even today he is inhabited in the hearts of people. Shashi Kapoor worked in many hit films which people still watch and his songs are still liked by people till date. Shashi Kapoor was called the first Charming Dude of Bollywood and millions of girls were crazy for him. In fact, the fans of that era used to get crazy after seeing the dimples falling on their cheeks and their acting had injured everyone.

Shashi Kapoor made everyone his slave after doing memorable films like 'Satyam Shivam Sundaram', 'Jab Jab Jab Phool Khile'. He was born to Prithviraj Kapoor on March 18, 1938 and was the youngest of four children. Let us tell you that his mother's name was Ramsharani Kapoor and Shashi Kapoor's childhood name was Balbir Raj Kapoor. At the same time, like father Prithvi Raj Kapoor, both his elder brothers Raj Kapoor and Shammi Kapoor have also been well-known actors, which you all must have seen in films. Talking about Shashi Kapoor, he started his acting career in 1944 with his father Prithviraj Kapoor's Prithvi theater drama 'Shakuntala'. After that he also made his acting debut in films which remained as a child artist. Let us tell you that once while working in Prithvi Theater, Godfrey joined the theater group 'Shakespeareana' on a trip to India.

While working with the theater group, Shashi Kapoor travelled around the world and worked in many plays with Godfrey's daughter Jennifer. It is said that during this time both of them fell in love and at the age of 20, they married Jennifer, five years older than herself. You would know that Jennifer died in 1984 and her untimely death had a profound impact on Shashi. At the same time, they have three children, whose names are Kunal, Karan and Sanjana. Shashi Kapoor was given the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in addition to Padma Shri and he has shown his strong acting with Amitabh in many films like Wall, Namakhalal, Kabhi, Silsila, Suhag, Trishul, Do Aur Do Paanch, Shaan, Kala Patthar. He died there in the year 2017.
