Shashi Kapoor got Jennifer treated a lot, but she could not recover. In 1984, Jennifer died. Shashi Kapoor's son Kunal Kapoor told in his father's biography that he saw his father crying for the first time. After Jennifer’s death, Shashi Kapoor started living alone. Once he took a boat to the sea in Goa and cried a lot in the middle of the sea.
