Shatrughan Sinha and Amitabh Bachchan, two of Bollywood's biggest stars, have shared the screen in numerous films, with some of their collaborations becoming massive hits. However, their off-screen relationship has been marred by a decades-long cold war. The tension between them reportedly began when Sinha felt overshadowed by Bachchan's massive fame.

Although Sinha claims that their differences have been resolved, the absence of the Bachchan family from his daughter Sonakshi's wedding reception suggests otherwise. Few people know that Sinha has a long-standing connection with Jaya Bachchan, dating back to their college days. They share a special bond, with Sinha being protective of Jaya even before she started dating Amitabh. Jaya affectionately calls Sinha "Papa," while he addresses her as "Jaya ji."

Despite their close friendship, Sinha did not attend Abhishek Bachchan's wedding and even returned the wedding card and sweets. Abhishek revealed in an interview that his family had sent sweets to those who couldn't be invited to the wedding, but Sinha returned the box. Sinha later explained that he didn't accept the sweets because he wasn't invited to the wedding, and no one from the Bachchan family even called him after sending the sweets.

The cold war between the two Bollywood legends has been a topic of discussion for years, with neither willing to bury the hatchet. While they may have shared the screen and enjoyed each other's company in the past, their off-screen relationship remains strained.
