Actress Tunisha Sharma allegedly died by suicide on 24th December. The actress hanged herself on the set of a serial in Vasai in Maharashtra's Palghar district. The 20-year-old went to the washroom on the set and did not return for a long time. When the door was broken down, she was found hanging inside. Sheezan Mohammed Khan, Co-star of actor Tunisha Sharma was arrested after a case of the abutment to suicide was registered against him.

As the investigation is going on in the case every day there is a new revelation in the case. On Monday, District and Additional Sessions Judge at Vasai RD Deshpande heard the arguments of both the prosecution and defense. The court also accepted the request for time put forward by Sharma's counsel and adjourned the hearing on the bail plea till January 11.

Sheezaan Khan’s counsels Shailendra Mishra and Sharad Rai made some big revelations the case. They told the court their client was innocent and was not connected to Tunisha's death. They also gave the example of Jiah Khan’s case in which  Bollywood actor Suraj Pancholi, too, had got bail after being accused of abetment of suicide.

They also said TYunisha was in contact with a man named Ali on a dating app and was in the latter's company between December 21 and 23. Even before her alleged suicide, she was on a video call for 15 minutes with Ali, the counsel claimed in the court. They said, "Tunisha after the break-up moved on & opened tinder app and registered herself and on tinder, she was talking with Ali and after that she was going outside with Ali. Tunisha before suicide also talks with Ali on video call."

On the career front Tunisha started working with ‘Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap’ and later featured in shows such as ‘Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat’, ‘Gabbar Poonchwala’, ‘Sher-e-Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh’, ‘Internet Wala Love’ and ‘Ishq Subhan Allah’. She has also featured  ‘Fitoor’, ‘Baar Baar Dekho’, ‘Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh’, and ‘Dabangg 3’. She film and featured in ‘Pyaar Ho Jaayega’, ‘Nainon Ka Ye Rona’ and ‘Tu Baithe Mere Samne’
