Shah Rukh Khan,  Deepika Padukone and John Abraham’s Pathaan trailer finally released by the makers amid the whole Beshram Rang controversy over a saffron color bikini and boycott trends. The trailer is released after Shah Rukh Khan’s fans demanded for day of glimpse of the movie.

The two-and-a-half minute trailer begins with John Abraham on a mission to destroy 'Bharat Maa' but Pathaan aka India's most trusted soldier SRK has been entrusted with the task to abort the mission. Deepika also joins forces with Pathaan. John sets out to launch an attack on India, Shah Rukh ends his hiatus to protect India. He also has an offer from Deepika Padukone, who calls herself a cop and wants Pathaan to join hands with her. The trailer offers tons of action with several aerial sequences.

Amid the criticism, Shah Rukh Khan’s  Pathaan has received a U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). As per the information a total of 10 changes made in the film. At least three changes have made to the controversial song Besharam Rang - close-up shots of “buttocks, side-pose and sensuous dance movements during the lyrics Bahut Tang Kiya” have been removed. 

Speaking of the Pathaan, it marks Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the big screen in over four years. The action thriller also stars John Abraham and is directed by Siddharth Aanand. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on January 25, 2023. It will be released in Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions apart from Hindi.
