Mumbai: Actress Shehnaaz Gill, who stars in the revamped version of the song "Sajna Ve Sajna" from the upcoming film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, has given fans a glimpse of her practice for the track. Taking to Instagram on Saturday, Shehnaaz posted a video where she is seen rehearsing the song's signature hookstep with choreographers Shazia Samji and Piyush Bhagat.
The original version of "Sajna Ve Sajna" was featured in the 2003 film Chameli, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Rahul Bose. The revamped track is once again sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, along with Divya Kumar. In the caption of her post, Shehnaaz wrote, "Le teri hogayi yaar #sajnavesajna #shehnaazgill #sunidichauhan."
In Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Shehnaaz shares the screen with Rajkummar Rao. The film also stars Triptii Dimri, Mallika Sherawat, Rakesh Bedi, and Vijay Raaz. It tells the story of a couple whose attempt to capture their first night together on video goes awry when the CD containing the footage is stolen.
Shehnaaz, who began her career in the 2015 music video Shiv Di Kitaab, has since made her mark in Punjabi films like Sat Shri Akaal England, Kala Shah Kala, and Honsla Rakh. She has also appeared in Bollywood films such as Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Thank You for Coming.
The actress has featured in numerous music videos, including popular tracks like Shona Shona, Habit, and Gedi Route, and has a project titled Sab First Class in the pipeline. Shehnaaz shot to fame after participating in Bigg Boss 13, where her close bond with the late Sidharth Shukla, affectionately dubbed "SidNaaz" by fans, captivated viewers.
