Shehnaz Gill, who became an overnight impact following her session on the reality show Bigg Boss 13, is set to make her Bollywood debut in Salman Khan’s multi-starrer Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. We have now known that the singer-actress has also signed Rhea Kapoor’s next, which will be steered by her husband Karan Boolani. The film, which also features her father and actor, Anil Kapoor and Toilet’s actress Bhumi Pedenekar, is reputedly a modern take on relationships.
Informs a source related with the new project, “Like Rhea’s previous film Veere Di Wedding (2018) starring Kareena Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor, her upcoming movie is also a women-oriented subject. Shehnaz is the latest to join the cast of the film, which is said to go for the shoot by the end of this month. This film will see Shehnaz in a different style.”
Shehnaz Gill got her first big break with the Punjabi movie Honsla Rakh, which starred her in the lead with Diljit Dosanjh. The film was released last year and the character of Shehnaz was so loved and appreciated by her fans all over India and even outside the country.Her followers made her hashtag and shared it for a long time.Not only that, the songs of the movie were appreciated in the form of reels and videos of kids performing. Talking about Salman’s Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, the actress will be seen sharing screen space with the likes of Venkatesh, Pooja Hegde, Raghav Juyal and Siddharth Nigam. KEKD is being directed by Farhad Samji.
Given her massive popularity, she has also been invited to grace various reality shows, including Dance Deewane, Hunarbaaz: Desh Ki Shaan and the 14th and 15th editions of Bigg Boss.
Most recently, the actress made her ramp walk debut in the first edition of Ahmedabad Times Fashion Week. She walked for Delhi-based designer Samant Chauhan, who presented the grand finale show. Shehnaaz left the audience mesmerized as she turned bride for the designer and wore a red lehenga.She also recently attended an award show wearing a beautiful grey and black gown, giving pictures to the media persons who were present for the celebrities, she saw one of her fans sobbing seeing her favorite celebrity she immediately hugged her and calmed her down for a moment and then went for the show.This is one of the reasons why her fans love her for being real and absolutely candid just like the same she was in the reality show when they first started liking her.
