He said, 'I know what pain you must have gone through. I know the story of all those people who forced you to look down and you used to cry on my shoulders. I wished that I would be with you in the last six months. I wanted you to come to me. Sushant Singh Rajput, what happened to you was their deeds, not yours.' The police have termed Sushant's death as suicide. Shekhar also tweeted on Sunday evening after Sushant's death and wrote, 'Dear Sushant, you had a lot to offer. You can not leave so soon. Perhaps this world was not in terms. You were an elderly soul imprisoned in a restless body. Often, heaven cannot handle that.'
