Himachal Pradesh: Ridge ground in Shimla all geared up for the swearing-in ceremony of CM elect Jairam Thakur and other cabinet ministers in hilly state of Himachal Pradesh

Jairam Thakur is all set to take oath as the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, today, says "people have shown faith in us, will try to meet their expectations" as quoted by ANI in an interview.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrives in Chandigarh. Today he will attend the swearing-in ceremony of Himachal CM elect Jairam Thakur and others at Ridge ground in Shimla.

Mahendra Singh, Suresh Bhardwaj, Anil Sharma, Sarveen Choudhary, Ram Lal Markand, Vipin Singh Parmar, Virender Kanwar, Vikram Singh, Govind Singh and Rajiv Sahjal to take oath as cabinet ministers along with CM elect Jairam Thakur shortly.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with the galaxy of BJP leaders like Home Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP president Amit Shah, former deputy Prime Minister LK Advani and a number of Union ministers and chief ministers are likely to present at Jai Ram Thakur’s swearing-in ceremony at the momentous Ridge Maidan in Shimla at 11 AM.

Governor Aacharya Devvrat will administer the oath of office and secrecy to Thakur.
