Sai baba Shirdi was an Indian spiritual master and Fakir considered being saint reversed by both Hindu and Muslim devotees during and after his lifetime.

Sai Baba opposed all persecution based on religion or caste He was an opponent of religious orthodoxy – Christian, Hindu and Muslim.Sai Baba urged his followers to pray, recite the name of God, and read the Bible. He recommended Hindus to read literature like the Ramayana, Bhagavad Gita, and Yoga Vasistha, and Muslims to study the Qur'an.He advised his devotees and followers to uphold moral principles, lend a helping hand, love all creatures equally, and cultivate two crucial virtues: faith (Shraddha) and patience (Saburi). He condemned atheism.

Sai Baba stressed the value of being content in all circumstances and carrying out one's obligations without attachment to earthly things in his teachings. Although he did not participate in regular rituals, he allowed the practise of Salah, the recitation of Al-Fatiha, and Qur'anic readings during Muslim festival periods. He also observed Islamic worship practises in his personal life. Baba adored listening to mawlid and qawwali accompanied by the tabla and sarangi twice day, occasionally reciting the Al-Fatiha.

Both Hindu and Islamic religious scriptures were translated by Sai Baba. He gave an Advaita Vedanta-inspired explanation of the significance of the Hindu scriptures, placing a significant emphasis on the path of bhakti (devotion). His teachings were influenced by Bhakti Yoga, Jnana Yoga, and Karma Yoga, the three main Hindu spiritual schools.

Sai Baba emphasized the significance of submission to the genuine satguru, who can guide the disciple through the spiritual growth's jungle having travelled the path to divine consciousness. He claimed that sincere followers constantly think lovingly of the satguru and entirely give themselves to him. 

Sai Baba performed many miracles such as levitation, bilocation, materialization, reading of people mind entering tomb at his own will, removal of body parts and affixing them again including intestines. He took rebirth after 3 days cured the ill and saved the people by stopping the falling mosque.
