Shiv Sena MLA Pratap Sarnaik has recently sent a motion for breach of privilege against actress Kangana Ranaut to the Speaker. It has been said in the proposal that the actress made false accusations against him. Kangana had recently shared a post on social media. In this, she talked about getting a Pakistani credit card from Sarnaik's house. With the approval of the Speaker, Kangana may have to appear in the Assembly and give her clarification.

Pratap Sarnaik had earlier also proposed a breach of privilege against Arnab Goswami, Editor-in-Chief of Republic TV. The notice has been issued to Arnab four times in this case. Presently, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is investigating against Pratap in the money laundering case. Talking about Kangana, when she compared Mumbai to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, Sarnaik threatened her in an interview and said, "If she comes to Mumbai, our female employees will break her mouth." Due to his statement, he had to face the displeasure of the National Commission for Women. Currently, a user has tagged Kangana on social media and has written, 'Kangana was right. Pakistan's credit card has been found from Sarnaik's house."

In response to this, Kangana wrote, He had threatened to break my face when I had said Mumbai was feeling like POK. India recognise those who are staking everything for you and those who are taking everything from you. Where you place your faith their lies your future. India Pakistan na ban jaye sambhalo yaaron' On the proposal issued by her, Sarnaik said, 'Kangana has maligned me and my family in the country. My family was unnecessarily targeted. In this regard, I have moved a motion of no confidence in the House and I have requested the House to approve it immediately. '
