Mumbai: Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited Sindhudurg in Maharashtra on February 7 for the inauguration of a hospital. The Union Minister there attacked the Shiv Sena as seven BJP councilors have switched sides to join Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray's party. The days after Shiv Sena taunting Amit Shah over his remark says that there were no talks behind closed doors. Further, he continues saying 'does everything in broad daylight'.

The editorial in its mouthpiece Saamana reads ?The Shiv Sena openly joined hands with the NCP and the Congress to form a government. However, we would like to know how come Devendra Fadnavis took oath secretly in the morning if the party believed in doing things in broad daylight?? After fighting Assembly polls together in Maharashtra, the Shiv Sena supremo broke ties with BJP in 2019. Recently on the visit to Maharashtra, the BJP leader had accused the Sena of ditching its founder Bal Thackeray's principles for forming the government in Maharashtra. He had raised objection over reports saying that he had promised to share the post of CM with the Sena for an equal term. He also questioned state CM for keeping quiet over the issue while campaigning for the Assembly polls, when it was openly said at different platforms that Fadnavis would occupy the top post.

The editorial also read that instead of making misleading claims, Shah should concentrate on the Uttarakhand glacier disaster and farmers? agitation. Further, it said those who wished the Sena?s end have themselves vanished from the political scene. In the meanwhile, BJP asked the Sena to introspect. BJP spokesperson Bhalchandra Shirsat also gave a statement, ?The Sena fought the polls in alliance with us and then formed the government with the Congress and NCP the same parties they had attacked. They need to introspect instead of blaming us."
