Yet another incident of beating and harassing a woman comes to light. The cruelty to women is increasing day by day. In this particular incident, a woman has allegedly been made half-naked and thrashed brutally by her husband and in-laws over a property dispute in Kolaras locality of Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh. According to the reports, a 3-year-old boy of the woman rescued her.

 As per the information the victim, Savita Kevat a resident of Haripur village, Kolaras, had bought a plot with the financial help of her parents. Savita said that she had deposited the installments of the plot by working as a laborer, but at the time of registration of the plot, her husband including her in-laws was pressuring her to get the plot registered in his husband's name. Savita further said that if the plot would get registered to her husband's name then he would sell it and her dream of making children educated would remain unfulfilled, this gave birth to a dispute between them. Leading to this husband with his parents made her half Naked and brutally thrashed her.

After the incident, the victim reached the police station and registered a complaint against the accused. As of now Police have been looking into the matter and interrogating her husband and relatives.

This is the second incident in a week in which a  woman has been tortured in a way. Earlier similar incident was taken place in MP’s district, Dewas where a married tribal woman was beaten up, stripped half-naked, and made to walk across the village while carrying her husband for allegedly having an affair with another man. The tribal woman was also made to wear a garland of shoes.
