Bhopal: The Shivraj government of Madhya Pradesh is soon going to open Kisan clinics in mandis of the state to appease farmers amid farmers' protest across the country. This was announced by Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel. He said that farmers get better treatment, so the government is going to open Kisan clinics in mandis across the state. Under which farmers will get free treatment.

Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel said that farmers will also be provided with medicines at 50% lower rate than the market in Kisan mandis. He said that commercials will soon be removed for recruitment of doctors at Kisan Clinics. The agriculture minister said that this type of Adarsh Mandi is now being started from Harda district. He said rumours are being spread that mandis are closing down. While neither Mandis will be closed nor will the yields be removed from the Minimum Support Price (MSP). Mandis will be smarter now than closed.

The state's opposition party Congress has been attacked by the government over the farmers' clinics. Former state minister Brijendra Singh Rathore said that the government hospital has its health system on ventilator, there is no doctor, there is a considerable shortage of resources. People are dying because they don't get better treatment, but the government is only doing gambling.
