BJP to lead five Rath Yatras before elections in West Bengal

Kolkata: The BJP has begun an attempt to reach out to the citizens of Bengal through separate celebrations just before the election for this year's assembly election. Under its new campaign, BJP will take up Rath yatras in the state. Through these Rath Yatras, the party will convey the message of major changes to the people of the state. According to sources, the BJP will take up rath Yatra from five different areas of Bengal, which would try to cover all the 294 seats, meaning the BJP would try to pass through every assembly constituency so that the message of change reached every household. Rath Yatras may start from the first or second week of February.

In a meeting held at Home Minister Amit Shah's residence, the Bengal BJP leader said, "THE BJP will take up five rath yatras in West Bengal for about a month from February to March, through which 294 assembly seats in Bengal would be reached. The Rath Yatras will be led by some senior leaders of the party. It will be designed in such a way that the senior leader of the state who starts the yatra is associated with the yatra throughout the week and is involved in the local leadership journey according to the assembly constituencies. Shortly, talks on the route of the yatra and other issues will be completed"

The political activity in West Bengal is fast. The state's politics is seeing a steady overhaul. Recently, several leaders from the state's ruling party TMC had joined the BJP on the verge. The TMC has been engaged in handling its party since several TMC leaders joined the BJP. The BJP is continuously an aggressor on TMC.
