Seeing the epidemic of corona spread across the country, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chauhan has deferred the formation of his cabinet. If the health-related conditions are normal after the lockdown in the country due to Covid-19, the cabinet can be formed in the second week of April. It is believed that 22 MLAs who join the Bharatiya Janata Party from Congress will get a place in the cabinet of Shivraj. Six of them are supporters of Tulsi Silavat, Mahendra Singh Sisodia, Govind Singh Rajput, Prabhuram Chaudhary, Imarti Devi and Pradyuman Singh Tomar Scindia. The remaining three are Bisahulal Singh, Adnal Singh Kansana and Rajwardhan Singh Dattigaon.

Shivraj Singh cabinet will be made of 24 to 26 people. In which there can be six to eight Ministers of State, but the challenge before Shivraj Singh will be that which of his people do he include in his cabinet. In the last assembly election, around 13 ministers lost the election, while some did not get tickets. This time in which Jagdish Deora, Ajay Vishnoi, Karan Singh Verma, Kamal Patel, Meena Singh, Brijendra Pratap Singh, Harishankar Khatik and Gopilal Jatav have reached the assembly after winning this time. He has also been a minister in the past. Apart from this, there are also contenders for the cabinet, who have won the assembly elections for the third or fourth time.
