Bhopal: Former Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has demanded a CBI probe into the death of Shivam Mishra in police custody two days ago at the Baragarh police station in Bhopal. Shivraj Singh has said that the policemen who brutally beat Shivam should be booked for murder.

Addressing a dharna at Bharat Mata Chauraha here to protest against the killing of Shivam Mishra and to give justice to his old parents, Shivraj said, "In the capital Bhopal where the CM and the Minister sit. Director General of Police (DGP) and full administration is present. But the ruthlessness in police custody under the nose of all of them that killed a young son is not a normal incident but a murder," he said.

"Strict action should be taken against such killers," Shivraj said. Shivraj has demanded that those who brutally beat Shivam should be booked for murder. A CBI inquiry should be conducted into the incident. so that milk and water can be watered. Shivraj also demanded the government to provide jobs to Shivam's sister and financial assistance to the family.
