Mumbai: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari's post insisting on six airbags in a car has created a furore. In fact, Union Minister Gadkari shared a video related to the road safety campaign in his post, which is being linked to the dowry system. Along with this, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who is seen in the video, has also come under the target of politicians and social media users.

Union Minister Gadkari shared a video on Friday in support of six airbags. He wrote, 'Make life safe by travelling in a car with 6 airbags. Akshay Kumar is also seen in this video.' Now Shiv Sena says that the dowry system is being propagated through this video. Taking or giving dowry is a punishable offence in India. In fact, the video shared by the Union Minister shows the scene of the girl's farewell. In it, a father is crying as he bids farewell to his daughter. Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar comes and warns him about the safety of the daughter-son-in-law. He says, "If you send off the daughter in such a car, then tears will come... After this, the father counts the merits of the car, but Kumar asks about 6 airbags. The car is changed at the end of the video.''

On this, Shiv Sena leader Priyanka Chaturvedi has said, 'This is a problem-filled advertisement. Who passes on such creatives?  Is the government spending money to promote security or promoting the dowry system through this ad?' Trinamool Congress (TMC) national spokesperson Saket Gokhale has said that it is bad to see the Government of India officially increasing the dowry system.
