Mumbai: Senior Shiv Sena leader and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut on Sunday attacked the Modi government over the issue of agricultural bills. Sanjay Raut questioned PM Narendra Modi during the introduction and discussion of agricultural bills in the Rajya Sabha. Sanjay Raut said, "If you really assure that no farmer will sleep hungry, no farmer will be happy, it will be a great achievement of the government.

He is a little confuse with regard to the bill. The market you created that within the Mandi, people outside the Mandi would occupy the mandi. This situation is also going to be the hands of corporates. A special session of the day should be called. There should be a day's discussion. Then such a bill should be brought. Sanjay Raut has further said that 70 percent of the people in the country are engaged in agriculture. The farmers were working in the entire lockdown. What can the government assure is that after the bill is passed, farmers' income will double and no farmer in the country will be commit suicide.

However, Sanjay Raut also said that if this bill is anti-farmer, why is there no protest all over the country? If there is no protest all over the country, it means that the bill is in itself. But there is some confusion. There are some confusions about the bill. The government should remove it.
