MUMBAI: In an editorial printed after the Maharashtra Assembly election result in Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamana, the BJP is made aware of its diminished power in gestures. The Shiv Sena has described these results as shocking. While the editorial has criticized the BJP, the growing power of NCP and Congress has also been mentioned in the state.

Shiv Sena has said that the trend of Maharashtra's movement is straightforward and clear. No excess or else it will be finished, such a mandate has come out of the machine of 'EVM'. Only the lotus would come out of 'EVM', the confidence was till the last moment for CM Fadnavis but in 63 seats out of 164 lotuses did not came.Looking at the results of the entire Maharashtra, the Shiv Sena-BJP alliance has got a majority to form a government.

The editorial states that the 'statistics' game continues in parliamentary democracy. The figure of 'Yuti' is of clear majority. The Shiv Sena and the BJP together figure around 160. The people of Maharashtra have given these results only after making sure. Then call it a grand mandate, or something. This is a mandate, not a mandate, it has to be accepted. ' Let us tell you that in the Maharashtra elections, BJP has won 105 seats, while Shiv Sena has won 56 seats.
