Mumbai: In view of the Maharashtra Assembly elections, Shiv Sena has released its election manifesto. The Shiv Sena manifesto was released on Saturday under the leadership of Aditya Thackeray. The manifesto has a picture of Bala Saheb Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray printed. The manifesto promises a college for the education of the economically backward people, a women's savings house in each district, government hostels for working women, employment and health-related issues.

During the issuance of the manifesto, Aditya Thackeray said that 'Our manifesto was also for different areas, but the current manifesto is for the entire state. Aare was included in our manifesto. We also prepared a manifesto for Mumbai and police stations. We are still adamant about making Aare a forest area. While issuing the manifesto, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray said that we were called regionalists and seculars. We had the issue of land decades ago. Now Congress and NCP have become useless, so they are raising the issue of land.

In this meeting, Aditya Thackeray said that our promise (manifesto) has been prepared after much research. In the next five years, various schemes like reducing electricity bill, how much will be spent on providing food for 10 rupees, have also been mentioned in the manifesto. Thackeray refused to speak on the issue of Ram temple as the code of conduct is in force in view of elections in the state.
