Mumbai: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has announced to make a film city in the state. The Shiv Sena has welcomed CM Yogi's move but has also taken a dig at the Modi government. The Shiv Sena wrote in its mouthpiece Saamana that after the removal of Section 370, the central government should prepare a plan for a film city in Kashmir. After all, everyone has contributed to the Indian cinema world.

Shiv Sena wrote in Saamana that there was a time when our cinema world used to go to areas like Kashmir, Shimla, Manali and Shillong for shooting. Kashmir was everyone's favourite location for romantic songs. A grand film city can also be made there. After all, everyone has contributed to the Indian cinema world. The Shiv Sena has welcomed CM Yogi's decision to make a film city in Uttar Pradesh.

Shiv Sena wrote that CM Yogi Adityanath has announced to make Film City in his province. This film city will be made in about one thousand acres in Yamuna Authority area and work will start under the guidance of international advisors. This project will be completed in the next two-and-a-half years, it has been claimed. The Shiv Sena wrote that this project is small compared to the cinema world and Chitranagri of Mumbai and South India, but the initiative to start it is laudable.
