The Indian team has suffered a major setback before the Asia Cup. The head coach of the Indian team, Rahul Dravid, has been infected with Corona, there is still a doubt whether he will be able to go to the Asia Cup or not. The Indian team has to leave for UAE today. Asia Cup is going to start from this Saturday i.e. 27th August and India's match is on 28th.

The head coach of the Indian team, Rahul Dravid, was also on a break after the recently concluded series against the West Indies. The team led by KL Rahul, who had arrived in Zimbabwe to play the ODI series, was accompanied by National Cricket Academy (NCA) director VVS Laxman as a coach. KL Rahul and VVS Laxman made a clean sweep against Zimbabwe.

The Asia Cup is to start on August 27 in the UAE. On August 28, India has to play its first match which will be against Pakistan. According to Indian time, this match is to be held at 7.30 in the evening. The troublesome thing for the Indian team is that Rahul Dravid has now become corona infected and in such a situation, it may be very difficult for him to be present with the Indian team in the Asia Cup. Because unless he is negative and is not fit after that, he will not be able to join the team. In such a situation, will VVS Laxman travel with the team instead of Rahul Dravid in the Asia Cup, that is the big question.
